Kräftisen

Fint veckoslut har det varit igen, trots att jag och Mickes humör inte riktigt gott ihop. Hunger, trötthet, obeslutsamhet är sånt som orsakar oenigheter mellan oss, men sånt e de ibland.

När vi på lördagen kom till Karis blev jag positivt överraskad när vi var på lunch till den nyrenoverade restaurangen Socis. Helt härlig mat och när man bad sallad till fick man en helt jättestor skål med fräch sallad. Och portionerna var tillräckligt stora:


Kräftorna var också jättegoda, har säkert aldrig ätit så mycket som igår. Och mina bordsgrannar åt inte det härligast på kräftan (om man inte räknar med skärten/stjärten (hur stavas det?)), nämligen det gula smöret. Och de flesta kräftor hade massor av det. Så mina bröd var jättesmöriga och goda. Yum.

Joo, och sen hände en väldigt skojig grej. Körde hem min mormor efter att vi skålat för 18 åringen och när jag var på väg tillbaka lyckades jag glömma att svänga in på en väg och trodde att jag var på rätt väg tills jag såg på vägskyltarna alltför långt fram att något var konstigt. Då kom jag på att jag glömt och svänga. Tog cirka 15 minuter längre. Kan väl skylla det på graviditeten...


Fin dukning. Hade egen vinglaska. Faktiskt god, smakar vin för det är vin som man tagit bort alkoholen ifrån.

Efterrättstårta. Mega bit för mig... Sprack efter det. Och me and my man.

Jaa, och eftersom jag nu inte bryr mig så jättemycket om hur mycket jag mera går upp, så avnjöt jag en snickers i tåget på vägen hem. Var så trött, är ännu ganska trött, och därför ser jag så härligt fräch ut. Var hemma halv 3 inatt och det var jag som körde. Vanligtvis sover jag före 11.

Det var det veckoslutet. Idag är det 28 dagar till den beräknade dagen, 4 veckor, så är nu i 9:e graviditetsmånaden. Vi har nu på kvällen byggt ihop den nya spjälsängen, den blev fin, men bågen som jag sytt ser lite konstig ut så är lite missnöjd...

Lyckat veckoslut!

Gårdagens kräftis gick jättebra, och jag hade jätteroligt. Tomatsoppan var god (fast det var jag som lagat den), kräftorna var goda, snapsvisorna blev sämre ju mera snaps det gick åt och sällskapet var toppen. Glömde bort kameran under själva ätande men här är endå lite foton:En härlig kräfitg blombukett. Härligt med blommor!

Den okräftiga dukningen, lyckades glömma köpa kräftservetter och så hade vi också glömt välkomstskål..

Det var lite trångt och hett i vårt kök, men endå lyckades vi äta alla kräftor.

Idag har jag och Micke haft en dag på tumanhand, kommer troligtvis att bli få av dem i framtiden, idag är det exakt 7 veckor till den beräknade dagen, så det var jättekiva. Vi var till hietsun och jag simma lite, efter det lite (egentligen otroligt massor) cafe picninc mat, mega glassportion i tennispalatset med massa grädde och sås och sen var vi och titta på Harry Potter. Vi har rätt så olika filmsmak så Harry Potter var en bra kompromiss. Filmen var bra gjord, men den handlar just om den deppigaste boken i hela serien så inte så positiv.

1 and 2 May

On Saturday we went to our summer cottage and tried to give it a face lift. Micke was "gathering leaves" and I was playing with the dog or complaining my stomach was hurting. The only thing I actually finished was the food. I am not so good at stuff you do at a summer cottage, but sort of like everything that has to do with food. And my nose also started bleeding so Micke told me to rest, was a great "rester": gave a lot of helpful (probably not) ideas on what Micke and my mom should do.

was of course not at all what I had expected. In a negative sence. I was stressing in the kitchen half the afternoon (making tzatiki potato salad and real meatballs and running to buy something I forgot, and cleaning) and then we only had 1 guest out of 4. Because of the stressing I was also in a bad mood and the one guest we had was entertained by me and Micke being mad at each other, and then me and Micke trying to figure out where the problem was, then becoming friends, getting mad at each other again. And so on.

The best moment of the day was when we came back from Havis Amanda, ate a bit of wappen food, sat i the sofa and just watched TV. So relaxing.

Micke is this happy of getting alchol free sparkling wine, if he would not have known he would not have complained.

Putting the hat on Havis Amanda. It was Hanken's turn this year. Was not so special, but a good wappen tradition. And I got strawberries and was happy for the time it took to eat them, then I was weird again.

People at the Senatsquare, felt a bit out, did not know what to do when I was not in a happy tipsy mood, which all the other people were. Feel I am getting old and boring when I can'tdrink.

Home again, just relaxing, watching simpsons and other weird things. Lovely!

Today we go to Knipan (a restaurant) in Ekenäs with my aunts, uncles, grandfather, mom and so on. And it will actually be very nice. Would like to have a struva. Now.

Lately..

The weather has been really nice in Helsinki the last week, sunny and cold. Today there is of course no sun, but it does not really matter since I am working.

Today I have alreay been out with Jigi, eaten one breakfast, taken a shower and now I am washing clothes. Micke is working already. He is such a good husband!

New Year

I don't really feel it is a new year, I don't really feel anything. But now it is 2009, and new years eve was fun, espacially after some sparkling wine, before it was a bit quiet and incomfortable.

The 1st and 2nd have we spend home. Taking walks in the beautful weather, eaten bad stuff and watched criminal minds. I think me and Micke would need some time off, we have seen each other way too much lately, we are not so friendly to each other anymore. Next Wednesday Micke starts his praktik again and I can't get annoyed at him sitting in front of the computer all the time. Tomorrow we are going snowboarding, first time in 2 years. And on Sunday it is our 1 years engagement day. This year has gone fast.


This was the corwd celebrating new year together. A weird crowd. I found some glasses in my brothers car and decided to borow them, the result is the ugliest foto of 2009 (the last one). I didn't want to get blind. Micke said he liked me when I was a bit drunk, that's why I was. To proove him wrong, I was a danger to everyone.

I want so, so much

As you have read from previous posts, I am not so satisfied with what I am studying. Economics is okay but it is just too inhuman or something similar to me. I will this spring get my bachelor degree, and after that I can go somewhere else and take a masters degree.

I would really, really love to do a master in development studies. So now I am trying to get all the papers needed for this, so that I have a chance to get in to Uppsala or Lund (in Sweden) to study a master in development studies next fall. I really hope I get in, because I know that development studies is something I am really into. But I need a lot of papers. The deadline for applying is the 15.1 and I should have my bachelor degree already, and send in my bachelor thesis (whish I have not really started writing yet) then, but with a lot more papers I still have a chance.

I want it.

I have been a great soon to be wife today. I made a "radiokaka" for Micke (he has been asking for one for a long time), I agreed to invite the missing guest and I made pizza. Tomorrow it is new years eve. We are spending it with friends in Tölö. (helsinki)

Christmas was good

Oh, I was bitter in my last post. So, so. Sometimes I am. Sometimes life is bad.

But now things are better and good. Christmas was also good, I was tired and complainy and a pain in the ass, but it was good. The food was great, good wine, nice to meet family and it was quite calm.


My mom being mommy. We made ham the first time in avery long time, and it was so so good. We have almost eaten it already. Yum.


After church in Pojo kyrka we went to Ingå, to my aunt and there we ate chrismtas dinner. We started around 6 and were done close to 10. A lot of so, so good food.

Happy me. :)

After that we went to my uncle and there we got coffee and cake.We were home around 2, and then I got my presents. I got great, great presents. One of the best things was a jacket amd some jewelery.

Yesterday we ate again. Had no room for food, but the house was full of food.
Made some Irish coffee.

In the evening we went to Affes. There is a tradition to go the affes on the 25th.

Today we chill!

Not bored anymore

I realised I had to do something, otherwise it could go bad for me. So yesterday we went to an Arcada party and I had so much fun. So much fun. Danced and aluged and talked. Today we will do the same, and have a small christmas reunion here, and then go and dance again. Love dancing. Yeah!
